The preservation of Earth and the prosperity of the human race are embodied in ZEON’s corporate philosophy, and the aspiration to realize a sustainable Earth (geo) and a safe and comfortable life (eon) is branded in the company name. As a chemical manufacturer, the achievement of carbon neutrality by 2050 is a vital issue for ZEON. In order to achieve it, the company has formulated a masterplan for carbon neutrality. Launched in 2021, one pillar of the medium-term business plan strategy (Stage 30) is to promote a transformation of manufacturing (monozukuri) to realize carbon neutrality and a circular economy.
