About 20 participants took a part in the two-days Elastomer Course for young professionals in October 2023. This course is designed specifically for young professionals who are interested in expanding their knowledge and skills in the field of elastomers.

From March 21 -23, ZEON and ZS Elastomers were among more than 200 exhibitors participating at the Tire Technology Expo in Hanover, the world’s largest gathering for tire design, development and manufacturing experts.

Epichlorhydrin rubber is an oil- and heat-resistant type of rubber, mainly comprising epichlorhydrin monomer, which is widely used in automotive (eg fuel hose, sealing) and industrial (eg printing rollers, diaphragm) applications. ZEON has developed a bio-type version of this rubber, using epichlorhydrin monomer from renewable sources – glycerol by-product from plant-based biodiesel production – instead of conventional crude oil sources.

The 14th KHK Fall Rubber Colloquium 2022 (November 8 - 10) was supported by ZEON as Sponsor. During the three days, many different sessions with great speakers were available for the participants. ZEON was Fall Rubber Colloquium Poster Award Sponsor and presented the winner during the poster ceremony.

Due to the increase of production costs and to ensure supply security and service standard, ZEON is announcing the price increase of Chemicals products in Europe, effective from October 2022 shipments.

This year around 4.300 professionals have attended the DKT in Nuremberg (27th - 30th June).
